The Body Quest Beginning
Free Consultation
Initially, we want to make sure we are the best fit for your needs and goals. We do this by scheduling a face to face consultation free of charge. At this time you will be able to ask questions and we will be able to find out more about your background, exercise history, availability to work out, and goals. If we both feel comfortable with moving forward, we will schedule your first session and send you home with some paper work that will include a medical history questionnaire, a review of exercise and health history, and our contract and release of liability waiver.
Your first workout will be exercise training based on your goals and time availability. We will use this time to ascertain your likes and dislikes, and any possible limitations, and then make any necessary adjustments accordingly. Whatever clothes will make you feel comfortable. Most people wear shorts and a t-shirt, with proper running shoes. Body Quest Office:(970) 580-8805
You may wish to bring any medical records pertaining to injuries or health conditions that might have an impact on your training program. If you see any doctors or other health professionals on a regular basis, please bring their contact details with you.
The First Session
During this time you will participate in any initial fitness assessments. This may include body composition (fat mass vs. lean mass), heart rate training zones, blood pressure, girth measurements, aerobic capacity, strength, flexibility, balance, agility, or power.
This session is very low key, but comfortable workout clothes and running shoes are recommended. Clients may also choose to bring a water bottle.
At the end of your first session, we will schedule your next appointment, which will be the first workout.
The First Workout
Your first workout is not intended to exercise you to the point of pain. Working in a progressive manner we will build upon this first session with subsequent workouts that will be progressively more difficult.
Each session is intended to instruct you on the proper exercise technique and add a continually growing number of tools to your fitness toolbox.
